                                            Spectacular Experiences
The city of Hermanus, in South Africa, offers spectacular experiences to the tourists who
go there. It is one of the best places in the world for meeting incredible sea animals.

Every year, between June and December, groups of whales go to Hermanus’s Bay to
find a mate and have babies. Tourists can spot the whales in their natural environment
from the shore, or they can go on a whale-watching cruise boat to see these amazing
animals from very near. You can see the whales “sailing” on the water with their tails, or

jumping out of the water and then crashing back down with a terrific splash! Are you
courageous? You can go down into the ocean in a steel cage and see the great white
sharks dancing around you. Aren’t you brave enough? Don’t worry! You can meet the
large penguin colonies and laugh looking at the penguins comically waddling about and

      swimming for their food.
